DataTraveler VP, Now Supports Macintosh

Kingston DataTraveler Vault - Privacy Edition (DataTraveler VP) is a flash drive that has encryption. Now, Kingston DTVP that can be used on the Macintosh computer system (Mac) from Apple.
"We are very happy to add support for the Mac on the drive that is 100% secure, so that the community of Apple users can make sure to get best storage solutions in the market that they can secure the data," said Nathan Su, Flash Memory Product Manager Kingston, Apac Region, on Monday ( 11/5/2009).

DTVP users can take advantage of the ability is called a security-based hardware in it. DTVP have prevention of attacks against brute-force with the automatic locking when the login attempt failed for 10 times.

Encryption 256-bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) is used in it is able to protect all data in a flash. Security functions that can be obtained without having to install any application on the user's computer.

Kingston DTVP can be used on Mac OSX 10.4x and above, Windows Vista, Windows XP (SP1, SP2, SP3) and Windows 2000 (SP4). DTVP capacity available in 2GB, 4GB, 8GB, 16GB and 32GB.
